The last day of OPEN CINEMA will be rich with unique film programs. It will open with a special program "Doc. about Love" curated by Alexander Rastorguev. Three non-fiction movies were included in this program: "Together" (Pavel Costomarov), "Pavel and Lalya" (Viktor Kosakovsky) and "Not scared" (Svetlana Fedorova). Two French friends will keep you a company tonight; INTERNATIONAL FILM SCHOOLS FESTIVAL RENCONTRES HENRI LANGLOIS and ÉCU European Independent Film Festival.The night will finish with the most interesting program of the festival: «ASIAN SYNDROME: SINGAPORE AND THAILAND»

A new look of Jean Harlow and Greta Garbo! The two legends of the world cinema now can be seen in avant-garde appearance. On September, 2 - the opening of "Hollywood Icons" exhibition - austere black&white portraits of american divas have been turned into contemporary paintings. The authors of the startling reincarnation are Vladimir Volkov, a musician, and Pavel Semchenko, an artist, who asserted, that during the drawing process none of the stars have suffered any damage. The creators suggest a catchy color will bring the pictures more popularity on the charity auction in Moscow - it’s the place to where canvases will be sent by the end of the exposition. The profit will be donated to the "DA!" children’s animation studio.

One of the best programs of OPEN CINEMA 2010 - «ASIAN SYNDROME: SINGAPORE AND THAILAND» will be demonstrated in Mirage-Cinema centre on Thuesday. Shorts by young stars of Asian arthouse – Thai director Aditya Assarat and Singapore born Royston Tan – are included into OPEN CINEMA’s extra program “Asian Syndrome”. At the moment these authors are ones of few indie filmmakers, who have been recognized both in South-East Asia and abroad. You can also get to this program on September,8 at 21.40 in Dom Kino cinema centre .

Monday, the 6th of September, will broaden the geographic borders of OPEN CINEMA. During one night the festival will send you from one corner of the world to another. Besides fiction and non-fiction programs of the Main Competition the program of Parallel Competition «NO ANAESTHESIA» will be demonstrated in the Small Hall of “Dom Kino” cinema centre. The final point of the trip is Quebec, Canada. Short movies of the best Canadian film-makers are united in «QUEBEC TRANSIT» program curated by Étienne Desrosiers.

OPEN CINEMA continues to show movies participating in the Main Competition of the festival. On September, 5 the audience of “Dom Kino” cinema centre will enjoy short movies from different programs including fiction, animation and video art. The workshop of Ivan Maksimov, director of animated movies, will be held in the book store "Word Order" ("Порядок слов") within VI ISAAF OPEN CINEMA.

The first day of VI ISAAF OPEN CINEMA will start with a program of short films demonstrated at Oberhausen Festival in 2009 and 2010. The International Short Film Festival Oberhausen is one of the major international festival crossroads as well as a serious trial for all filmmakers who create short films. For already 56 years it opens new interesting figures, such as Roman Polanski, Wim Wenders, Martin Scorseseand others.
A special program of International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be presented on September 3 (19.30) in “Dom Kino” cinema centre.
